Last week, as student leadership members, we had the opportunity to attend an overnight leadership retreat in Mittagong, facilitated by Bishop Brian Mascord and members of the Catholic Education Office. This retreat was the first of its kind, with an emphasis on being ‘bearers of Christ’s love’ within our Catholic communities, which we are encouraged to use as a framework for our leadership endeavours of 2023. We were lucky enough to connect with student leaders from high schools across the diocese, who shared their goals and aspirations for 2023, as well as their unique school values that serve as a foundation for their leadership initiatives.
